Get Running

 

The weather is getting warmer and sun is getting brighter which means it’s a runner’s favorite time to be outside. There are many races being held in Chicago to raise awareness/money for different events. If you are looking for a new activity or want to just run more, 5k’s are a great way to get started.  The 5k training schedule below incorporates a mix of running, walking and resting.  It will help reduce the risk of injury and help your body adjust to running so you can perform to your best ability the day of the race.  Grab a friend, family member or just your running shoes and get started!
