Shamrock Shuffle 2012

The Shuffle was a success! What a perfect Sunday morning to be running in Chicago. I was not as pumped as I wanted to be but that was because of my leg hurting. I honestly did not think I would be able to finish. Surprisingly I ran the whole time with one pit stop at the medical tent to wrap my leg quickly at the 3.5 mile marker. I'm still pretty bummed it knocked about 3 minutes off my time according to my watch. I think my quad muscle might be torn but finishing at 47 minutes wasn't so bad (aka 44 minutes).  Everyone else on my team did a fantastic job too!! Chris Manna finished in 43 minutes!! So proud! For now I will give my leg some rest. Overall Shamrock Shuffle was a blast and everyone who loves physical activity and Chicago should sign up next year!
